1. Returns Overview
At EASTEAM, we are committed to a seamless and customer-focused shopping experience. While we do not offer refunds to original payment methods, we gladly provide store credit for all eligible returns. Store credit is issued once your return has been reviewed, received, and approved.
Please read this policy carefully before initiating a return. By submitting a return request, you confirm that you have read and agree to the conditions outlined below.
2. Return Eligibility
Return Window
You have 7 calendar days from the date of delivery to initiate a return request. Requests submitted after this window will not be eligible for return, regardless of circumstances. We encourage you to inspect your items promptly upon arrival.
Item Condition Requirements
To be eligible for a return, all items must be:
- Unworn, unwashed, undamaged, and unused
- Returned with all original tags still attached
- In original packaging (including any dust bags, authenticity cards, or leather tags included with the product)
- Footwear and accessories: returned unmarked, unscuffed, and in the original undamaged box, placed inside a protective outer shipping box
- Beachwear/swimwear: the hygiene adhesive strip must remain intact and attached
We highly recommend using the original packaging when returning items to ensure adequate protection during transit.
Ineligible Items — Non-Returnable
The following items are not eligible for return, exchange, or store credit under any circumstances:
- All sale items, promotional items, and items purchased during any markdown event
- Items purchased having a discount (considered Final Sale)
- Pre-order items (non-refundable due to made-to-order production)
- Items marked as ‘Final Sale’ at the time of purchase
- Items returned outside the 7-day window
- Items that do not meet the condition requirements above
EASTEAM reserves the right to reject any return that does not comply with this policy. If a returned item is found to be ineligible, it will be returned to the customer and no store credit will be issued.
3. How to Initiate a Return
All returns must begin with a formal return request. You can submit your request in two ways:
Option A — Via Your EASTEAM Account (Preferred)
In keeping with our strict no-paper policy, EASTEAM does not include a return slip in shipments. All returns are initiated digitally.
- Go to easteamny.com and click the account icon in the top right corner.
- Log in using the email address you placed the order with. A 6-digit verification code will be sent to your email.
- Once logged in, locate your order by date.
- Click the order you wish to return and select “Request Return.”
- Select your reason for return. A reason is required — returns without a stated reason may be rejected. If selecting ‘Other,’ provide details in the notes field.
- Click “Request Return” to submit.
- Allow 1–3 business days for our team to review. We may request additional photos or videos to support your request.
- Once approved, you will receive return instructions by email.
Option B — Via Email
Email support@easteamny.com with your order number and reason for return. Our team will review your request and respond with instructions within 1–3 business days.

Shipping Instructions
Once your return is approved and you have received return instructions by email:
- Select a shipping carrier of your choice and send the item to the return address above.
- Use a trackable shipping service. EASTEAM is not liable for lost, delayed, or damaged return shipments.
- After shipping, reply to the return instruction email or contact us at support@easteamny.com with your return tracking number and order number.
- We recommend purchasing shipping insurance for high-value items.
- Ensure the return package is securely sealed and properly protected. Hand the parcel directly to your courier and retain the proof of shipment receipt.
Return Shipping Costs
Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs for standard returns. The only exceptions are:
- Defective or damaged items: EASTEAM will provide a prepaid return label for domestic customers. International customers may arrange their own shipment and submit verified receipts to support@easteamny.com for reimbursement via PayPal.
- Incorrect items (wrong item shipped): EASTEAM covers return shipping costs in full.
EASTEAM is unable to reimburse return shipping fees for standard (non-defective) returns.
5. Return Processing & Timeline
Once we receive your returned item(s):
- Our team will inspect the product within up to 7 days of receipt.
- If the return meets our policy criteria, store credit will be issued within 3–5 business days of approval.
- You will receive an email confirmation once your store credit has been processed.
- Store credit may take up to 10 business days to appear in your account after issuance.
- If the return fails to comply with our policy (e.g., item is worn, damaged, or returned outside the window), EASTEAM reserves the right to deduct an appropriate amount from the store credit, or reject the return entirely.
EASTEAM will notify you by email of the outcome of your return inspection, including the amount of store credit issued or the reason for rejection.
6. Refund — Store Credit
All approved returns are refunded as store credit only. No cash refunds or refunds to the original payment method are available under any circumstances.
Store Credit Details
- Store credit is valid for one (1) year from the date of issuance.
- Store credit can be used toward any future purchase on easteamny.com.
- Store credit must be applied in full — partial use of a single credit amount is not available. If your order total is less than your store credit balance, the remainder stays on account for your next purchase.
- Your store credit code will be emailed to you and saved in your EASTEAM account.
- Store credit cannot be transferred, exchanged for cash, or applied retroactively to a placed order.
Sale & Discounted Items — Not Eligible
Items purchased at a discounted price — including during sales, promotional events, or with a discount or coupon code — are considered Final Sale and are not eligible for return, exchange, or store credit. This applies regardless of how recently the item was purchased.
7. How to Use Your Store Credit
- Log into your EASTEAM account at easteamny.com.
- At checkout, select “Apply Store Credit” as your payment method.
- Store credit will automatically apply to your order total.
- If your order total exceeds your store credit balance, you may pay the remaining amount with another payment method.
- If store credit remains after your purchase, it stays on your account for future use.
- Store credit must be applied in full — partial use is not available.
8. Pre-Orders — Non-Refundable
Pre-orders are non-refundable and non-cancellable once placed. Production begins immediately upon order confirmation as part of our made-to-order manufacturing model — this is a deliberate sustainability practice to reduce overproduction and textile waste.
We encourage customers to carefully review sizing information on the product page before placing a pre-order. Our customer support team is available to assist with sizing guidance prior to purchase.
For size exchange requests on pre-order items, contact support@easteamny.com — we will assist where possible, though exchanges cannot be guaranteed for all pre-order styles.
9. Exchanges
EASTEAM offers size exchanges for eligible items subject to availability.
How to Request an Exchange
- Contact support@easteamny.com with your order number and the size you need.
- Exchanges are subject to stock availability. If your requested size is unavailable, store credit will be issued so you can reorder when the size restocks or select an alternative item.
- Sale items are not eligible for exchange.
- The item must meet all return condition requirements (unworn, tags attached, original packaging).
- Exchange requests must be submitted within the 7-day return window.
Once your exchange is approved and the original item is received and inspected, EASTEAM will arrange for the replacement to be shipped.
10. Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or is the wrong item entirely, contact support@easteamny.com within 7 days of delivery with the following:
- Your order number
- Clear photographs of the damaged or incorrect item (and packaging if applicable)
- A brief description of the issue
EASTEAM will review your claim and provide a resolution, which may include a replacement, exchange, or store credit. Return shipping for damaged or incorrect items is covered by EASTEAM (prepaid label for domestic; reimbursement for international).
Please inspect all items immediately upon delivery and retain original packaging for at least 7 days, as materials may be needed for any carrier or insurance claim.
11. Cross-Border Returns
Please note that EASTEAM accepts returns from all countries. However, customers returning items internationally are responsible for any import duties or customs fees their return package may incur. EASTEAM will not reimburse customs or duty fees on international returns (except for defective items as outlined in Section 10).
