1. Standard Shipping & Order Processing

Our standard operating days are Monday through Friday, with orders processed between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM Hong Kong Time (HKT, UTC+8). Orders placed before 11:00 AM HKT on a business day are typically shipped the same day. Orders placed after 11:00 AM HKT, or on weekends and public holidays, are processed the following business day.

We work with a variety of trusted local and international carriers and select the most appropriate provider based on your location and package type. Orders are typically dispatched within 1–2 business days of payment confirmation. For the most up-to-date tracking, please use the tracking link provided in your shipping confirmation email.

Free shipping is offered on all orders of $149 USD and above — worldwide. The shipping fee is automatically waived at checkout once the threshold is met. For orders below this threshold, the shipping fee is $20 USD for Ground Shipping.

Shipping times may extend during high-demand periods such as seasonal sales, product launches, or holidays. If a significant delay is anticipated, we will notify you via email. EASTEAM ships from Asia or New York depending on product availability and logistics.

2. Pre-Orders

Pre-orders are carefully processed and typically fulfilled within an estimated timeframe of 2–6 weeks. This timeline reflects our made-to-order production model, designed to reduce overproduction and support sustainable fashion.

In rare circumstances, fulfillment may extend beyond the stated timeframe due to production delays, supply chain disruptions, material shortages, or high order volumes. EASTEAM is committed to proactive communication and will notify you promptly if your pre-order timeline changes.

Split Shipments (Mixed Orders)

If your order includes both in-stock and pre-order items, the entire order is typically shipped together once the pre-order items become available. However, if the total value of in-stock items exceeds $149 USD, we will process and ship in-stock items separately to avoid unnecessary delays. Remaining pre-order items will ship once ready. For earlier dispatch of in-stock items regardless of order value, contact support@easteamny.com — a small additional shipping fee may apply.

Pre-Order Cancellations & Changes

Pre-orders cannot be canceled once placed. Production begins immediately upon confirmation in line with our made-to-order model. This is also why pre-orders are non-refundable.

To update your shipping address, log into your account or click ‘Update Shipping Address’ in your order confirmation email. For size changes, contact support@easteamny.com directly — we will assist where possible.

Please review all order details carefully before completing your purchase. Our customer support team is available to assist with sizing guidance or exchange inquiries prior to your order shipping.

3. International Customers

EASTEAM ships worldwide and treats every customer equally, regardless of location. We offer the same shipping options and service standards to all customers globally. There is no distinction between domestic and international customers — everyone qualifies for free shipping on orders $149 USD and above.

While most countries are fully supported through our website, a small number of destinations may have logistical limitations. If your location is not available at checkout, you can place your order directly by contacting us at support@easteamny.com.

4. Customs Duties & Import Taxes

Customs duty policies differ by shipping method:

Ground Shipping — Duties Covered by EASTEAM

For all Ground shipments, EASTEAM covers all customs duties and import taxes on your behalf, ensuring a seamless, no-surprise delivery experience.

Express Shipping — Customer Responsibility

For Express shipments, the recipient is solely responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or fees imposed during clearance. These charges are not included in the checkout price and are not collected by EASTEAM at the time of purchase.

Customs clearance procedures may occasionally cause unexpected delivery delays. EASTEAM has no control over the duration of customs inspections or processing and is not liable for related delays.

If you refuse to pay applicable customs fees and the shipment is returned to EASTEAM, the original shipping charges will not be refunded. Return shipping fees and any customs charges incurred by EASTEAM may be deducted from your refund or store credit.

Each country has its own duty-free threshold — you may be eligible to receive your parcel without additional charges if your order value falls below that limit. We recommend checking with your local customs authority for current thresholds. EASTEAM declares all shipments accurately in accordance with customs regulations using proper HS codes and product descriptions.

Ground Shipping

6. How to Update Your Shipping Address

Shipping addresses can only be updated before the order has been shipped. Once dispatched, address changes are not possible under any circumstances.

  1. Open your order confirmation email and click “Update Address.”
  2. Enter the email address used at checkout to verify your identity.
  3. Fill in your new shipping information and click “Update Shipping Address.”

If your order has already shipped, you must contact the carrier directly using the tracking details provided in your shipping confirmation email. EASTEAM cannot redirect or modify shipments once they are in transit. Any fees incurred for carrier-level address changes are the customer’s responsibility.

7. Delivery

To ensure safe receipt of your order, an Indirect Signature may be required at delivery — particularly for non-residential or commercial addresses. This requirement takes precedence over any standing release authorization on file.

If no one is available during the initial delivery attempt, the carrier will make one or more additional attempts. The package may be redirected to a nearby access point or held at a local facility. You will be notified via your tracking link or by the carrier directly.

If the shipping address is incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable, your package may be held at the nearest distribution center while the carrier attempts to contact you. Failure to resolve within the carrier’s hold period may result in the package being returned to EASTEAM.

Any shipping or return fees incurred due to an incorrect address or failed delivery attempts are the customer’s responsibility and may be deducted from any applicable refund or store credit at EASTEAM’s discretion.

Once your order has shipped and tracking information is provided, it is the customer’s responsibility to monitor delivery status. If you suspect your package may be lost or delayed, please contact support@easteamny.com within 7 days of the last tracking update. Do not wait for the issue to resolve itself — prompt reporting allows us to open a carrier investigation quickly.

8. Shipping Damage or Loss

EASTEAM takes great care in packaging every order. However, once your order has been handed to the carrier, the responsibility for safe and timely delivery transfers to the carrier.

In the event your package is lost, arrives damaged, or appears tampered with, please follow these steps:

  1. Inspect your package immediately upon delivery. If you notice visible damage, photograph the package and its contents before discarding any materials. Retain original packaging, tags, and all materials for 7 days after delivery.
  2. Contact the shipping carrier directly to file a formal claim. You will need: your tracking number, order confirmation, photos of the damage, and a description of the issue.
  3. Notify EASTEAM at support@easteamny.com with your claim reference number, order number, and supporting evidence. While EASTEAM is not liable for carrier-caused damage, we will support you throughout the claims process.

Please note:

  • EASTEAM is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged packages once the carrier has confirmed successful delivery.
  • Claims for missing or damaged packages must be submitted to the carrier within their designated claim window — typically within 7 days of the marked delivery date.
  • If the carrier approves a claim and determines compensation is warranted, EASTEAM may offer additional resolution options on a case-by-case basis.
  • EASTEAM strongly recommends photographing packages upon receipt and retaining packaging materials for at least 7 days as evidence may be required for claims.
