Video Editor
EASTEAM is a New York-based contemporary womenswear brand and creative house built around the idea that clothing, story, and image should all feel like they were made to love you. Our work spans an original womenswear label sold direct-to-consumer and through wholesale, an AI editorial production studio, and an AI talent agency serving fashion and lifestyle brands. We operate bilingually across the US, China, and the EU, with a small, founder-led team that moves fast across design, production, content, and partnerships.
We're looking for a Video Editor who can turn raw footage and AI-generated clips into finished, scroll-stopping video for social, ads, and campaigns. You'll cut short-form content that feels current and on-brand, with a sharp sense of pacing, sound, and rhythm — and the speed to keep up with a fast posting cadence.
- Edit short-form video for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Xiaohongshu — on-trend, on-brand, fast.
- Cut UGC-style, testimonial, and paid ad creative that converts.
- Add motion graphics, captions, transitions, and sound design that feel intentional, never raw.
- Finish and polish AI-generated video (color, pacing, compositing) into publish-ready assets.
- Maintain a consistent EASTEAM editing style and pacing across everything we publish.
- Work from briefs and shot lists, iterate quickly through revisions, and deliver organized files on schedule.
- Strong editing skills in Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, and/or After Effects.
- A sharp eye for pacing, rhythm, sound, and trend-aware short-form formats.
- Fashion, beauty, or lifestyle sensibility — you understand mood and cinematic feel.
- A clear, organized workflow and the ability to handle feedback without ego.
- Experience finishing or working with AI-generated video (Higgsfield, Kling, Veo, Runway, Sora).
- Motion graphics / title design chops.
- Your own reel of short-form or ad edits.
- Full-time commitment to the brand.
- Able to work hours aligned with U.S. Eastern Time (EST/EDT).
- Reliable internet and your own computer suitable for editing and AI tools.
- Strong written English and dependable, responsive communication.
- Organized handling of footage and assets following our naming and folder conventions.
